Tuesday, September 22nd

 DAY 2

MORNING PRAYER

Peter approached Jesus and asked him, “Lord if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times.” Forgiveness allows us to heal in our heart which then allows us to be more merciful to the person who hurt us.

Loving God,
Thank you for teaching us that even though others hurt us,
by forgiving them,
we can let go our anger and resentment
and be a more loving person.
Please strengthen us and give us a forgiving heart like yours.
We ask this in the name of Jesus,
Amen
