DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER

This Sunday is the feast day of St. Matthew. Matthew had a decision to make – to continue on with his lifestyle of being a corrupt tax collector, or to change his ways and follow Jesus. As we know, he decided to make a change and follow Christ. This gives us hope, for we know that it is never too late for us to change a wrong situation and make it right.

Loving God,
Thank you for the example of St. Matthew
who helps us to see that with Your help,
we can make changes in our lives.
Give us the graces to follow St. Matthew’s example,
as we learn more about Your son, Jesus.
Amen
