DAY 2

MORNING PRAYER

Advent is a time of spiritual preparation - and that kind of preparation can only be done in the quiet of our hearts.

God of Love,

My heart stirs in anticipation

that I sense you are inviting me

to enter more deeply into the mystery of your birth.

Help me to feel renewed in my heart

so that I may express the joy your birth will bring.

Help me to rest in you

so that I may have peace and love in my life.

Bless my family, extended family, and family of faith.

Through Christ our Lord.

Amen
