This week we are commemorating Veterans' Week. It is a time for us to reflect on the value of peace and to remember those who are in the service of protecting us. Today we are going to focus on those who during war worked hard to try to bring peace to our world.
Thank you for those who worked for peace
even during war times.
We also pray for all those who did not have an active role in war,
but worked behind the scenes
to ensure the soldiers were provided with the supports they needed.
As we reflect on the horror of war,
help us to do our part to make this world a peaceful place.
Please bless and protect those who serve us
in our community and country.
We ask this in the name of Jesus,
