 MORNING PRAYER

This week we are looking at advice from Pope Francis. Today he explains that possessions, or money, or power can give a momentary illusion of happiness, however they will end up possessing us and make us always want to have more and never be satisfied. Put Christ in your life, the Holy Father tells us, and place your trust in him, and you will never be disappointed.

Loving God,

Help us to be good stewards

of the resources you have provided us in creation.

Help us to remember that everything comes from you

and that we have a responsibility

to treat your world with responsibility and care.

Help us to reduce waste

so that future generations may enjoy this world.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen
