SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS 

THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS MUSICAL
École St Mary High School invites the community to Upstage Productions', "The Wind in the Willows". Show times at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. from May 9^th to May 12^th.  Tickets cost $18.00 for adults (ages 19 and over) and $13.00 for students (ages 18 years and under) and are available at the E.A. Rawlinson Box Office or by phoning 765-1270.​

VOLUNTEERS FOR MUSICAL

Volunteers are needed to help out in the foyer during evening performances of the musical, "The Wind in the Willows". Tasks include assisting with setup, selling 50/50 and raffle tickets, and helping with the canteen. The dates and times are Wednesday, May 9 – Saturday, May 12 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Christian service hours will apply. If you are interested in volunteering for one, or all, of these dates, please see Miss L McLeod in room 203.

GRADE 12 STUDENTS: MAJOR/MINOR SPORTS AWARDS 

If you are in grade 12, you may be eligible for a Major/Minor Sports Award that will be presented at the school celebration/awards assembly on Wednesday, June 6th.  The application forms are in the main office. Completed forms must be returned to the main office by Friday, May 18th. Please contact Mr. Quintal if you have any questions.

FUTURE U of S STUDENTS: MATH PLACEMENT TEST

The University of Saskatchewan is pleased to offer Prince Albert and area students the opportunity to write the Math Placement Test (MPT) in Prince Albert. Future U of S students who register in Math 110, 121, 123, and 125 are required to write the MPT. Traditionally, U of S students had to travel to Saskatoon to write this test. The Prince Albert date and time are yet to be confirmed (possibly second week of June at U of S Prince Albert Campus). Any students who think they want to write the Math Placement Test in Prince Albert are asked to reply by email to pbibby@srsd119.ca with the following information by Friday, May 18, 2018:

ENTREPRENEURSHIP 30

There was an error in the registration form and at the assembly.  We are offering the Entrepreneurship 30 course with the focus on becoming a small-to-large business owner.  Small business in Canada produces a significant number of new jobs, and make a tremendous contribution to the economy.  Students enrolled in Entrepreneurship 30 will have the opportunity to learn about the various characteristics of entrepreneurs and to create a work venture.  Students will develop an appreciation for the spirit of entrepreneurship, as well as for the planning, marketing, and financing that go into a successful venture.  The course code is 9201.

SMHS GRAD AWARDS

Students who are interested in applying for awards that will be presented at Grad 2018 must submit a Grad 2018 Awards Application Checklist Cover Page and aGrad 2018 Awards Application. These forms, as well as forms for General Proficiency Application, Royal Canadian Legion Verification, and The Sisters of Our Ladies of the Cross Scholarship Application are available at http://bit.ly/SMHSGradAwards An awards package containing the description of the awards is available at the main office. RELAY FOR LIFE FUNDRAISER

Chelsea Mitchell is raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society through Relay for Life.  If you would like to help support Chelsea, she is selling Relay for Life Bracelets for $5.00.  They are available for purchase at the office.
