SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS 
TERRY FOX FOUNDATION: PULLING FOR A CURE
Students are asked to return pledge sheets and donations to the library by Monday morning. During the lunch hour, the students and staff will participate in a tug o’ war tournament in the main gym. Come out and show your support by Pulling for a Cure!

PICTURE ORDERS 
All students should have received their picture proofs.  The deadline to order is Wednesday, October 5th.  Please bring the order form and exact money to the office.

YOUTH FAITH FORMATION TEAM
The Youth Faith Formation Team will support religious celebrations, such as displays, retreats and liturgies, for St Mary High School. Any students interested in being a part of this team are to contact Mr. Joy. 

SASKPOLYTECH PROGRAM INFO NIGHT
This event is happening in all campus cities - Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon on Thursday, October 20, 2016 starting at 6:30 pm.  Registration is required and individuals can register online or contact the Student Recruitment Advisor at the campus of your choice.

LORAN AWARD
The Loran Award seeks to recognize well-rounded students who demonstrate character, promise of leadership, and strong commitment and service in the community. Up to 32 Loran Awards are available, valued at $100,000 over four years. The application deadline is October 19th, 2016 for sponsored applications and October 26th, 2016 for direct-pool applications. Students who are interested in attending the University of Saskatchewan can attend an open house on Friday, September 30th. Students need to register online at www.usask.ca Students must also see Mrs. Rapin in Student Services if they want to travel with the school and have their absence school approved.

WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS
OPEN SHOP FOR PAA STUDENTS
Students who are currently taking PAA classes that involve construction or drafting are invited to use the shop equipment, under teacher supervision, during lunch hours every Monday - Thursday. Please contact Mr. Thalheimer or Mr. Welter for more information.

ART CLUB
Art Club meets every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m.- 5:00 p.m in the Art Room (B18). Everyone is welcome to attend. Come on out to make some great art! 

GLEE CLUB/CHORAL 
Glee Club rehearsals are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:15 a.m. and Wednesday at 12:25 p.m.

JAZZ BAND

Rehearsals are Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the band room.

WEDNESDAY SUPPER STUDY

Students are invited to go to the library after school to receive additional teacher support. As well, a supper is served at 5:00 p.m.
