NO PARKING AT CATHEDRAL
Students are not allowed to park in the parking lot at Sacred Heart Cathedral during the morning of Wednesday, March 25th, as there is a funeral.

CURLING CLUB AND TEAM
The Curling Club and Team wind up will be on Tuesday, March 24th We will be on the ice at 3:45 p.m. and supper will be at 5:30 p.m. Invite a friend. 

MODEL UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY
St Mary High School will be hosting the 4th annual Prince Albert Model UN session on Wednesday, March 25th in the Lecture Theatre. Students from St. Mary High School, Carlton, Rivier Academy, and PACI will discuss world politics and resolutions pertaining to torture (~ 9:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.) and climate change (~12:45 p.m. - 2: 45 p.m.). At the end of the day, two Distinguished Delegates will be selected to advance to the international Model UN session in Winnipeg in May. 

4th ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL JURIED ART SHOW
The 4th Annual High School Juried Art Show will be hosted at the Mann Art Gallery.  Any type of original Art, unframed,  is welcome. The deadline to submit work is Saturday, March 28th. For more details, or to submit artwork, please see Ms. Charlebois-Rinas before Friday, March 27th or contact Lana Wilson at the Mann Art Gallery.

LES AND IRENE DUBE SERVICE AND JUSTICE SCHOLARSHIP
To apply, students must be enrolled full-time in an Arts and Science program at the U of S through St. Thomas More College, have a minimum of 80% in selected courses, and complete an Award Application Personal Application form. The Award Application Personal Application form template is available on the Pursueonline career websiteThe Award Application Personal form is due at the main office by Tuesday, March 31st at 3:30 p.m.

ALEX PRYTULA AWARD (Male/Female)

The criterion for selection is outstanding contributions, financial need, and academics. SMHS GRADUATION AWARDS
Students are encouraged to pick up an awards package at the office. 2014-2015 ABORIGINAL ARTS & STORIES CONTEST
Participants of First Nations, Inuit or Metis heritage are invited to submit a short piece of creative writing or a two-dimensional piece of artwork about a moment or theme in Aboriginal history or culture. Winners receive cash prizes of up to $2,000, and groups of 6 or more are eligible for an additional prize! The contest deadline is March 31, 2015 and full guidelines are available at www.our-story.ca.

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS
ST JOSEPH PARISH VOLUNTEER SERVICE HOURS
St. Joseph Parish is looking for volunteers to assist with Children's Liturgy during Sunday masses (10:00 a.m.). Interested students are asked to contact Shelley at 922-0152 during the evenings. This opportunity would count toward Christian Ethics service hours.

SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL VOLUNTEER SERVICE HOURS

Volunteers are needed to help with activities at Sacramental Preparation sessions for children. This would involve six evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. once a month from November to April.  If you are interested, please contact Sister Zelie at 306-763-2319 or 306-960-1782.

PRINCE ALBERT WRESTLING CLUB
The Prince Albert Wrestling Club has begun! Sessions are Mondays and Wednesday at 6:00 p.m for Elementary school age students and 7:00 p.m. for high school age students, as well as Sundays at 4:00 p.m. Sessions are held at Carlton in the white gym. For more information, please see Ms. Richards.

Glee Club rehearsals are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:15 a.m. and Wednesday at 12:25 p.m.
