MORNING PRAYER

In today’s Gospel (Mark 9:30, 32-37) we see Jesus explaining to John that God’s Spirit works in mysterious ways. Have you ever heard the saying ‘God writes straight with crooked lines”? Think about how this expression applies to Jesus’ message for today.

Loving Father, you sent your Son to teach us to love all people, even those who may appear to be working against good. Grant us the ability to accept people who are different than we are but who may be fighting for the same cause of Christ in a different way. Amen
