Tuesday, October 15th

DAY 2

MORNING PRAYER

In today’s Gospel (Luke 11 37-41), Jesus was invited to dinner by a Pharisee and chose not to do the ceremonial washing before the meal. Jesus delivers a bitter lesson on how our appearances need to match a pure heart.

Lord Jesus, you taught the Pharisee a tough lesson about being authentic. Guide us as we remain genuine in our devotion to you in word and deed. Amen
