DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER
In today’s Gospel (Luke 9:51-56), Jesus strongly tells James and John what he thinks about retaliation after a community’s rejection.

Lord Jesus, you felt rejection from people who should have welcomed and celebrated you God-filled presence. Give us the insight to recognize you in the midst of our busy lives. Help us to see your face in everyone whom we meet, today and every day.   Amen.
