DAY 1
MORNING PRAYER
It can often be
hard to persevere in the face of challenge. Maybe the problem seems impossible,
or you have the wrong way to tackle it. I might be that the problem is just too
big for one person to reasonably solve it. It’s important to carry on, even
when all you’ve had so far is failure. It’s also important to remember that we
are all part of God’s great plan, and to give up is to leave the path He has
for you. This will let not only you down, but many others as well. The plan for
you is full of many great things, just like that with which you may be
struggling. It is important to have faith in God and persevere.
God,
As you sent your
son down to Earth
You gave Him many
impossible tasks,
but instead of
giving up, Your son persevered and triumphed.
Help us to have
the strength of will and faith more like Your son,
and help us
triumph over whatever we are struggling with.
We thank you,
Lord, for all the strength that You have given us,
and we ask that
you continue to do so as well.
We ask this
through Christ our Lord.
Amen
