DAY 1
MORNING PRAYER
Often some of the
most exciting acts at a circus are the trapeze artists who fly high above the
people leaping from a rope to be caught by another trapeze artist. Great skill is
required to do this feat, but trust is also very important – a trust between
the one who flies through the air and the one who catches. The
one who flies stretches out his arms and places complete trust in the catcher who
will grab him with split-second timing. This is a good lesson for us about our
faith. We are asked to have a leap of faith - just stretch out our arms and
trust that God will be there to help and support us.
Loving
Father,
Help us to grow in
trust, as we place ourselves into Your hands.
Give us the
strength take a leap in our faith, as we trust more in You.
Help us to
remember that You will always be there to help us.
Through Christ our
Lord,
Amen
