DAY 1
MORNING PRAYER
The
Catholic Church remembers Missions Month in October. Missions Month is a way for us to remember
that we all have gifts and that we are asked to share them with the world to
make our planet a better place to live. Many people dedicate their lives to missions, to going to a different
country and helping them learn about the faith.

HOUSE OF COMMONS: Page

Each year, 40 bilingual students graduating from high schools and CEGEPs from across Canada are selected to participate in the House of Commons Page Program. Pages work directly on the floor of the House of Commons and are responsible for a wide range of tasks related to Chamber activities. This provides them with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of Parliament by playing a role in the rich traditions of the Canadian parliamentary system. To be considered, candidates must submit their application and a résumé (maximum of two pages) through the House of Commons career portal by the deadline. Eligible candidates must be starting full-time or part-time post-secondary studies in September 2026 at the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Saint Paul University, Université du Québec en Outaouais, Collège La Cité or Algonquin College. The recruitment campaign for the 2026-2027 Page Program is open from September 29 to November 9, 2025!
