DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER

Each year we will focus on a different aspect of the relationship we have with Jesus Christ, and how that relationship informs and inspires our relationships with our friends, families, and community. For the 2025-26 school year, we will focus on Celebrating Christ’s Presence/Célébrer le ChristThis means celebrating the joys that living a Christ-centered life brings. This also means keeping in mind and being grateful for the many blessings that having an active relationship with Jesus Christ brings to our families, communities and extended faith community. Celebrating Christ’s Presence embraces being a positive and active member in our various communities, sharing the hope, love, and peace that living a Christ-centered life brings through our words and actions. By celebrating in Him, others may come to know and rejoice in the Faith, bringing everyone around us closer to Jesus Christ.

Loving God,

We come before you as a faith community,
celebrating the joys of living in Your presence.
We thank You for the many blessings You bestow upon us,
our families and our communities.
We know the closer we come to knowing You and living in Your presence,
the more joy we bring to those around us.
Through our words, actions and joint efforts,
please help us to allow others to know You and celebrate You like we do.
As we continue to rejoice in Your love and presence,
please help us to remain bold and courageous in our faith,
so that we may be a beacon to others
who would like to experience the same joy You bring us each day.
As we rejoice in You, please continue to guide our faith,
helping us choose the correct path that bring all closer to You,
even when it may be difficult.
Let our joy cry out over the hardships of life
and pour out to those who need it the most.
Amen.
