Wednesday, May1st

DAY 2

MORNING PRAYER

May 1st is a day set aside as International Workers’ Day. This day recognizes the value and dignity of human work and celebrates its role in God’s plan for creation.

On this day, Lord,

we celebrate the many achievements

of humanity as a whole,

but never let us forget

that each and every individual

has dignity in the work they do.

We pray today for the unemployed

and for those unable to work,

and we ask You to give success

to the work of our hands

Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
