 DAY 2

MORNING PRAYER

Today’s prayer was written by an École St. Mary High School student. It is about the theme of perseverance. It can often be hard to persevere in the face of challenge, but it’s important to carry on, even when all you’ve had so is failure. It’s also important to remember that we are all part of God’s great plan, and to give up is to go off the path He has for you.  Always remember, God is always there to help us. 

God,

As you sent Your son down to earth,

You gave him many impossible tasks;

but instead of giving up, Your son persevered and triumphed.

Help us to have the strength of will and faith more like your son,

and help us triumph over whatever we are struggling with.

We thank you, Lord, for all the strength that you have given us,

and we ask that You continue to do so, as well.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
