DAY 1
MORNING PRAYER
Sunday, March
17th is the feast of St Patrick, Patron Saint of Ireland. Patrick was born
about the year 400 AD and taken as a slave at the age of 16. After escaping, he returned to his studies and became
a priest, then a bishop. Throughout his life, St. Patrick learned to live in
the Presence of God. Today, we will pray one of St Patrick’s prayers:
Christ be with me and within me.
Christ be behind
me and before me.
Christ be beside
me to comfort and restore me.
Christ be below
and above me in peace and in danger.
Christ be within
the hearts of all who love me.
Christ be in the
words of friend and stranger.
