DAY 2

MORNING PRAYER

Our focus this Advent season is on sharing the love that comes from the Christ Child. Since our spiritual theme this year is, “Encountering Christ”, we want to focus more on the love of the Holy Family this Advent season, and think about how we can use their love for each other and God as examples in our daily lives. Today, let us focus on Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus

Loving Father,

Thank you for the example of St. Joseph in the way he cared for his family

As we embrace sharing faith this Advent season,

help us to care for others in our family and community.

Give us the strength to do the right things,

even when it is difficult.

Help us to prepare our hearts during Advent,

so we can truly welcome the Christ Child at Christmas

Through Christ our Lord,

Amen
