DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER

Each year of school picks a spiritual theme. This year, the theme is “Encountering Christ”. This theme helps us understand two important parts of our faith - that to encounter Christ means we look to deepen our spiritual journey. The other part of this theme is seeing the face of Christ in others - that we treat others with respect and dignity.

Loving God,

Please go before us as we embark on a new and different school year.

Bless the work you ask us to do this year at schools, and at home.

Help us to remember to greet each person we meet with dignity and love.

We ask this through Christ, Our Lord.

Amen
