DAY 2

MORNING PRAYER

Today we celebrate the feast day of St. Andrew the Apostle. As an apostle, St. Andrew was one of the closer apostles to Jesus, and he is remembered for his desire to be close to God. St. Andrew spent his life sharing God’s light with others, just as we are asked to do as disciples of Christ.

Dear Lord,

We ask you to help us be more like St. Andrew the Apostle –
unwavering in our faith and a true beacon of your light in the world.
We thank you for the people around us that bring light to our lives
and teach us how to share your light with others.
We ask this through Jesus Christ,
your only son,

our Lord.

Amen
