Monday, April 4th

DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER

During our Lenten journey, we should work really hard to ensure everyone is treated equally, that no one is judged because of race or culture. Perhaps today we can pledge to stamp out racism for this is what Jesus and our Church tells us to do.

Father,

May our human family not become separated from you

by building barriers of race and color, of class and belief.

Inspire us to recognize that we are all made in your image and likeness,

so that we may grow in appreciation of all people,

and encourage each other to grow in pride

in who we are and who we are called to be.

May you bless our Lenten journey,

and help us to realize that we are one body in Jesus Christ.

Through Christ our Lord,

Amen
