Our spiritual theme this
year is “Family of Faith”. For Lent, our theme builds on our overall
theme. Our Lenten theme is “Following Jesus as a Family of Faith”. This theme reminds us that, as a family of faith, we follow Jesus since he taught us how to live by serving God and each other. As we follow in Jesus' footsteps this Lent, we remember that he will guide us and be with us, since he loves us deeply as his family.
As we enter this Lenten time,
help us to embrace fasting, prayer, and giving.
As a family of faith,
help us to change our hearts
so that we don’t only do what is best for us,
but also what is best for those around us.
Thank you for the time of Lent
to help us to reflect on how we are loving you
and loving each other.
Through Christ our Lord,
