This week we are looking at advice from Pope Francis. Today he explains that possessions, or money, or power can give a momentary illusion of happiness; however, they will end up possessing us and make us always want to have more and never be satisfied. Put Christ in your life, the Holy Father tells us. Place your trust in him, and you will never be disappointed.
Help us to be good stewards of the resources
you have provided us in creation.
Help us to remember that everything comes from you
and that we have a responsibility to treat your world
with responsibility and care.
Help us to reduce waste,
so that future generations may enjoy this world.
Through Christ our Lord.
