DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER

Christmas is the feast that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. For Christians, it is not just a single day, but an extended liturgical season of joy and celebration, involving many different symbols and traditions, special music and activities, which vary significantly among different countries and cultures. No matter how we celebrate, we all come together to celebrate the joy that the birth of the Christ Child brings us.

Loving God,

Remind us during this sacred season

of our collective story in God’s plan

of salvation for the world.

May we spread the good news

of the coming of the Christ Child.

Help us to focus our attention,

so that we remain in the joy and hope of this season.

Through Christ our Lord,

Amen
