 MORNING PRAYER

Today’s prayer was written by an École St. Mary High School student. It is about perseverance.

God,

As you sent your son down to earth,

you gave him many impossible tasks,

but instead of giving up,

your son persevered and triumphed.

Help us to have the strength of will and faith,

more like your son,

and help us to triumph over whatever we are struggling with.

We thank you, Lord,

for all the strength that you have given us,

and we ask that you continue to do so, as well.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen
