Today is the World Day of Prayer for Priests. Catholics around the world are urged to pray for priests who serve in our churches and parishes. Today is also the Feast Day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
On this feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
we pray for all our priests that work hard to serve their parishes
and to be a role model for a faith-filled life.
Help them not to be discouraged,
but rather give them the courage and strength,
to continue to preach the good news of Jesus Christ
in their words and actions.
Through Christ our Lord,
