 MORNING PRAYER

In 2018, Pope Francis declared that the Monday after Pentecost was to be celebrated as the Memorial to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother on the Church.  Yesterday was that special day, so let us remember this day by praying the following prayer dedicated to our Heavenly Mother, Mary.

Mother Mary,

Pray that our ears be open to God's word

and to recognize his voice and call.

Awaken in us a desire to follow in his footsteps.

Help us to entrust ourselves fully to him and to believe in his love,

especially at times of trial.

Teach us to see all things with the eyes of Jesus,

that he may be light for our path,

Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Amen
