We continue our celebration of Catholic Education week in the province of Saskatchewan. The theme is "Nourishing Hope". Yesterday, we heard that hope is not seeing the world as it is, but what it can be. Today, we are exploring the hope that comes from within us when we trust in God's plan for our world.
We thank you for the gift of hope
that burns as a light in each one of us.
Help us to see this light within us,
and to remember that you are the source of this light.
Give us the courage we may need
to not only keep this light burning brightly in ourselves,
but also to share that light
so that it can touch everyone that we meet
in our homes, in our schools, and in our communities.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
