Today is World Catholic Education Day and we give thanks for the gift of Catholic Education. Throughout Catholic Education Week, we have been exploring the theme of "Nourishing Hope". We have been reflecting on what it means to be hope-filled people, and how we bring the hope that lives within each of us to our families, school, and community. Today, we rejoice in God's love and give thanks for the gift of Catholic education. As we mark World Catholic Education Day, let us celebrate the gift of schools where we can joyfully answer Jesus' call to go out and make disciples of the whole world.

U of TORONTO INFORMATION SESSION: SK Gr 9 – 11 Students
The University of Toronto is hosting an information session on Wednesday, May 19th at 7:00 PM CST for Saskatchewan students in Gr. 9 – 12 who may be thinking about applying to the University of Toronto in the future. The Zoom webcast will feature an overview of the U of T and three campuses, the 700+ academic program options, the opportunities available inside and outside the classroom, the application process and a chance to ask questions. The IBAS Young Community Leader Bursary recognizes one graduating Saskatchewan high school student who exemplifies outstanding dedication to making their community a better place. In 2021, the successful applicant will receive a one-time cash bursary in the amount of $5,000.
