MORNING PRAYER
There is a poem called “Go
Forth” which helps put perspective in our lives. Here are a few verses
from the poem:
Be thankful for the difficult
times, for it is during these times that we grow.
Be thankful for your
limitations because they give you opportunities to improve.
Be thankful for your mistakes,
they will teach you valuable lessons.
Dear Jesus,
You teach us to give what
can’t be bought or sold,
that is, the gifts of love
from our hearts.
Help us always to give thanks
for your gifts
of compassion, kindness,
forgiveness, mercy and grace.
Fill our hearts with your love,
so we can share these gifts with others.
In Christ’s name,
Amen
