DAY 1
MORNING PRAYER 

God our Father, 

we thank you for this earth, our home; for the wide sky and the blessed sun, 

for the salt, earth and the running water, for the everlasting hills and the never-resting winds, 

for trees and the common grass underfoot.

 We thank you for our senses by which we hear the songs of birds, 

and see the splendour of the summer fields, and taste of the autumn fruits, 

and rejoice in the feel of the snow, and smell the breath of the spring.

Grant us hearts that are wide open to all this beauty; 

and save us from being so blind that we pass unseeing 

when even the common thornbush is aflame with your glory, O God, our Creator. 

Amen.

MEET THE STAFF BBQ

Students and families of St Mary High School and Blessed Marie Rivier are invited to a barbeque (hamburgers and hot dogs) and to meet the members of the staff on Wednesday, September 15th. The barbecue is from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: St. Mark Fall Supper 

Students who are interested in volunteering to help St. Mark Parish with their Fall Supper are invited to contact Mrs. Rissling in Room 229 by Friday September 15th.  Help is needed on Saturday September 23rd and Sunday September 24th. Various shifts are available. 

ATTENTION CARPENTRY STUDENTS
Any construction and carpentry students who have left past projects in the shop, please pick them up by the end of the week of they will be donated to a worthy cause.

U of S OPEN HOUSE 

Any student who wants to attend the University of Saskatchewan Open House on Friday, September 29th, 2017 needs to preregister online at explore.usask.ca. Throughout the day, students will

• Explore the campus and faculties
• Take part in hands on activities
• Meet University Staff and faculty
• Speak with current students about the U  of S experience

After registering, please see Mrs. Rapin or Mrs. Dauk in Student Services if you want to book a spot on the bus. 

MODEL UN

OPEN SHOP FOR PAA STUDENTS

Students who are currently taking PAA classes that involve construction or drafting are invited to use the shop equipment, under teacher supervision, during lunch hours every Monday - Thursday. Please contact Mr. Thalheimer or Mr. Welter for more information.

GLEE CLUB/CHORAL 

Glee Club rehearsals are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:15 a.m. and Wednesday at 12:25 p.m.

Rehearsals are Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the band room.
