SENIOR VOLLEYBALL City Finals

Come out and support our St. Mary volleyball teams as we play against Carlton. The girls play TONIGHT at St. Mary High School at 7:00 p.m. and the boys play Thursday, October 27th at 6:00 p.m. at Carlton.

JUNIOR CURLING

All three teams will be playing Thursday, October 27th at 6:30 p.m.  

SLC COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER

The SLC Cookie Dough Fundraiser will be held from Thursday, October 27th until Monday, November 7th.

COATS FOR KIDS

The Prince Albert Knights of Columbus, along with the R.C.M.P., are working together to collect gently-used (or new) coats, ski pants, toques/hats, mitts, scarves, etc. for children ages 2-12 years of age living in Saskatchewan northern communities. Donations can be brought to any Catholic Church in Prince Albert or to St. Mary High School until the middle of November. As well, cash donations will be accepted to purchase outerwear. Mr. Corcoran in room 227 will collect any donations from our school community.

AIR QUALITY SAMPLING
Environmental Science 20 students are investigating air quality. Please note that there are various sampling locations and that they will be up for approximately 1 week. Please do not disturb the samples. Also, if you notice any samples that have fallen, please contact the office or Mrs. Welter in room 243.

OPENING DOORS FOR TOMORROW CAREER FAIR 

The career fair is TODAY. All grade 9 students go in period four. Grade 12 students go at 9:45 p.m. with Mrs. Rapin, and Grade 10/11 students go at 1:50 p.m. with Mrs. Dauk.

LORAN AWARD
The Loran Award seeks to recognize well-rounded students who demonstrate character, promise of leadership, and strong commitment and service in the community. Up to 32 Loran Awards are available, valued at $100,000 over four years. The application deadline is October 19^th, 2016 for sponsored applications and October 26th, 2016 for direct-pool applications. WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS

OPEN SHOP FOR PAA STUDENTS

Students who are currently taking PAA classes that involve construction or drafting are invited to use the shop equipment, under teacher supervision, during lunch hours every Monday - Thursday. Please contact Mr. Thalheimer or Mr. Welter for more information.

ART CLUB

Art Club meets every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m.- 5:00 p.m in the Art Room (B18). Everyone is welcome to attend. Come on out to make some great art! 

GLEE CLUB/CHORAL 
Glee Club rehearsals are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:15 a.m. and Wednesday at 12:25 p.m.

JAZZ BAND
Rehearsals are Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the band room.

WEDNESDAY SUPPER STUDY
Students are invited to go to the library after school to receive additional teacher support. As well, a supper is served at 5:00 p.m.
