MORNING PRAYER
In today’s
story, ( Luke 8:4-8) Jesus says that a sower planted seeds
and the seed fell on
three different kinds of land: a path, rock, and fertile ground.
What happened
to the seeds?
Parables always have a deeper meaning that it seems at first.
Listen for the deeper meaning of this story.
God,
Sower of Life,
Help us to be fertile soil.
May love grow in us like beautiful
roses.
May courage grow in us like sturdy oak trees.
May generosity grow in us
like fields of sunflowers.
May justice grow in us like the tallest, highest
mountains.
Amen
