DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER

Third Week of Advent
Today’s reading from the prophet Isaiah came during a joyful time for the people of Judah.
It was a time when they were able to return to Jerusalem after many years in exile.
Isaiah 40:9-11

Dearest God,
You are the shepherd. We are your flock. We hear your voice and know you are near.
Bless us. Be our guide. Protect us. Comfort us. Stay by our side.
Lord, your love holds us close and leads us day by day.
Let us always hear your voice and follow it.
We pray.
Amen
