DAY 2

MORNING PRAYER

Second Week of Advent
Today’s reading describes the coming of the Messiah and his new kingdom.
Righteousness means to act with honesty and respect, to be fair and just honorable.
Isaiah 32:1,16-18.

Lord God,
In this advent time of waiting, the days can seem long and dark.
Sometimes the troubles of life can seem long and dark as well.
Comfort us with your promise of security and peace.
Lead us to quiet resting places.
Amen
