DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER

Although Moses was raised in Pharaoh’s court as one of Pharaoh’s sons,
he knew that he was a Hebrew. He often saw the Hebrew people being mistreated.
One day he could stand it no longer
and attacked a man who was beating a Hebrew and killed him.
This action changed Moses’ life forever.

God of Justice,
There was something inside Moses that could not stand for people to be mistreated.
Create in us a desire for justice.
Create in us the courage to stand up for what is right.
Amen
