Today is the feast of the nativity, or birth, of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  

As Jesus’ mother, Mary would have prepared meals for her son. 

Perhaps she taught him about the importance of sharing.

Dear God, help us to respect the good food we have. 
Show us what to do to help those who are hungry.

ART CLUB
Art Club will be on a new day this year.  The first meeting of Art Club will be Wednesday, September 9th after school in the Art Room.  If you enjoy making art, drawing or would like to learn a new medium, come on out.  Everyone is welcome.  No long term commitment is required.

CROSS COUNTRY MEETING

There will be a meeting on Tuesday, September 8th at 12:45 p.m. in Room 140 for any students who are interested in cross country. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Skomorowski or Miss Phaneuf.

PICTURE DAY

Pictures will be taken on Thursday, September 10th starting at 9:00 a.m. in the mini-gym. Students will be called by grades to come to the camera.

BOARD GAME CLUB

The first day of gaming will be Tuesday, September 15th in the Community Room.

UPSTAGE PRODUCTIONS AUDITIONS
Any Grade 9 - Grade 12 students who are interested in participating (cast, crew etc.) in the play this fall are encouraged to audition on Wednesday, September 9th and Thursday, September 10th at 3:45 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre.
