SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS 
SADD ACTIVITY
TODAY at during lunch outside the south doors, pay a loonie and take a whack at a car donated by PA Wreckers. All monies collected go toward SADD activities. Come out and show your strength and support!

SPRING GOLF
Students who are interested in golfing may register with Ms. Packet in Room B14 on Tuesday, May 5th.

GRAD PHOTO RE-TAKES
Grad photo re-takes have been changed to Tuesday, May 5th. Please see Mrs. Kopchynski to set up an appointment for that day.

THE WEDDING SINGER
Upstage Productions will be performing the musical, "The Wedding Singer" from Wednesday, May 6th to Saturday, May 9th at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre. Show times each evening are 7:30 p.m. Tickets are: $18.00 for adults (19 years and over) and $13.00 for students (18 years and under). Tickets may be purchased at the E.A. Rawlinson Box Office.

2015-2016 REGISTRATION FORMS
All students who plan to attend St. Mary High School next year are asked to hand in their registration form to the office as soon as possible. 

TALENT SHOW

A talent show will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd at 7:30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre. Admission is $3 with all proceeds going to charity. Auditions are Monday, May 25th and Wednesday, May 27th from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Room B26. Please sign up on the music room door.

CANADIAN PARENTS FOR FRENCH SCHOLARSHIP
The local CPF is offering scholarships for French immersion students from Grade 9 to Grade 12. Please contact any French immersion teacher for more information. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 6th at 3:30 p.m.

SMHS GRADUATION AWARDS
Students are encouraged to pick up an awards package at the office. The Award Application Personal Application form template is available on the Pursueonline career websiteThe Award Application Personal form and other documents (if applicable) are due at the main office by Friday, May 8th at 3:30 p.m.

VOTE FOR THE BAND "THE WOLF"
The band "The Wolf" is in the regional semi-finals of CBC Searchlight. Gabrielle Giroux and Siobhan Bayda-Whitely, students in Grade 10, are members of this band. Vote for the band at www.music.cbc.ca You may vote once every day, on every device! Every vote counts! 

U of S REGISTRATION WORKSHOP
The annual U-Start registration workshop for new U of S students will be held Wednesday, May 13th, 2015 at St. Mary High School. The workshop will give new students an introduction to the tools and information they need to prepare for university. Topics include:
  • ​How to choose and register for classes
  • How to use on-line tools such as PAWS and course/program catalogue
  • How to pay tuition, find a place to live, and buy textbooks
Students who have been admitted to the U of S are encouraged to sign up online for the workshop or a webinar that works best for them! For more information, and to sign up, students may visit students.usask.ca/ustart. Also, if you have any questions, you may contact a guidance counsellor in Student Services. 

2015 SASKATCHEWAN FIRST NATIONS SUMMER GAMES ID CAMPS
Team PAGC invites you to come out to tryouts. Check out the details on the website www.pagc.sk.ca for dates and information.  Information is also posted outside the main office.
COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS
ST JOSEPH PARISH VOLUNTEER SERVICE HOURS
St. Joseph Parish is looking for volunteers to assist with Children's Liturgy during Sunday masses (10:00 a.m.). Interested students are asked to contact Shelley at 922-0152 during the evenings. This opportunity would count toward Christian Ethics service hours.

SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL VOLUNTEER SERVICE HOURS

Volunteers are needed to help with activities at Sacramental Preparation sessions for children. This would involve six evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. once a month from November to April.  If you are interested, please contact Sister Zelie at 306-763-2319 or 306-960-1782.

PRINCE ALBERT WRESTLING CLUB
The Prince Albert Wrestling Club has begun! Sessions are Mondays and Wednesday at 6:00 p.m for Elementary school age students and 7:00 p.m. for high school age students, as well as Sundays at 4:00 p.m. Sessions are held at Carlton in the white gym. For more information, please see Ms. Richards.
