GRAD 2014 REGISTRATION EVENINGS
A reminder to graduates of the two Grad 2014 registration nights: Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 28th at 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Cathedral basement.  Only your parent/guardian can register you. Before you can register for graduation you must have all your school fees paid first.  Check with office and the library to make sure your school fees have been paid and that you do not have any outstanding books.

ST. MARY STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL 2014/15

Applications will be available in the main office for students who would like to apply for the 2014/2015 SLC. Students may apply from Thursday, May 15^th to Thursday, May 22^nd. All applications must be received by Thursday, May 22^nd. Please return your application form to the main office. Positions to apply for are Executive (Co-President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer)  and Team Leader (Athletics, Special Events, Publicity, Faith Development, Fundraising, Media Development)

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN JOINING A YOUTH GROUP?

Students are meeting at Fr. Travis’ house to form a youth group on Sunday, May 25th at 2 p.m. Bring outdoor shoes as we are going to be heading outside for games.

SASKATCHEWAN SCHOOL BOARDS SCHOLARSHIPS 
Two $2,500 scholarships are awarded to graduating Saskatchewan high school students who remain in Saskatchewan in post-secondary study: University Scholarship and a Applied Science and Technology Scholarship. Recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrating good character, community leadership, financial need, and a 500-word essay. The application deadline is August 31^st, 2014. Please see a counselor in student services for applications or go to http://www.saskschoolboards.ca.​

GRADE 12 RETREAT

The Grade 12 Retreat is Thursday, May 15th at Par Place. It’s a full day of fun, games, good friends and God.  Take this opportunity to spend one last day making positive high school memories.

HAT DAY

We will be having a hat day on Thursday, May 15th to support Donovan Frasier's Relay for Life team the "Leukemia Lunatics".  Also, Donovan has a pledge sheet available for those wishing to make a donation.

RELAY FOR LIFE

The event requires 4 student volunteers to help with parking on Friday, May 30th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Please see Mrs. Kopchynski if you can help.

ENCOUNTERS CANADA-EXPERIENCE CANADA WEEK 

Be in the centre of the action on Parliament Hill, with a front row VIP seat at the Canada Day Celebrations! Experience Canada Week is from June 29th to July 5th, 2014. Encounters Canada has specifically designed this week for high school students who are new or first generation Canadians. Please see Mrs. McLeod in Student Services for more information on how to apply. 

GRAD PHOTO RETAKES

Retakes will be Friday, May 16th starting at 9:30 am.  Please see Mrs. Kopchynski to schedule a time if a retake is needed.  There is a possibility of a $20 fee being charged.  If you are getting a sitting for the first time the charge is $30.

PRINCE ALBERT AND DISTRICT SCHOLARSHIPS

The Tillie and Joe Kawula Scholarship($1,000) and The Hershel Davidner Memorial Scholarship($1,000)  will be awarded to two graduating Grade 12 students  entering a post secondary school. These scholarships are open to Grade 12 graduates from S.R.S.Division and P.A.R.C.S.Division. The deadline to apply is May 30^th, 2014. Please see a counselor in Student Services for application details.​

DATE CHANGE:   U of S U-START 2014

U-Start 2014 will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at St. Mary High School in the Theatre from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. The U-Start session is facilitated by the U of S and will show new students and their parents how to  register for their classes, organize class schedules, housing options, transitions programs, and more. Students may go online and register with the U of S for the U-Start session.​

APPOINTMENT WITH U of S ACADEMIC ADVISOR 

Grade 12 students who have registered to attend the U of S this fall will have the opportunity to meet with a U of S Academic Advisor on Thursday, May 29^th. He will be here from 9:00 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.The advisor will help you with course selection and any other questions you may have. You must sign up by or before Tuesday, May 27^th to meet with him. Please see Mrs. M^cLeod in student services to sign up.
