There is a funeral in the morning on TODAY so students are not allowed to park in the parking lot.

WRESTLERS
All wrestlers are invited to come watch the DVD after school TODAY at 3:30 p.m. Anyone who is interested in wrestling next year is invited to watch as well.

NOON HOUR VARIETY SHOW AUDITIONS
Auditions for the Noon Variety Show will be taking place on TODAY before school, at lunch, and after school! Please go to the music room to sign up and see Miss. Stewart for details.

U of S COLLEGE OF MEDICINE
The Canadian Federation of Medical Students invites interested student to attend a presentation Thursday, June 5th, at 1:20 p.m. in the Chapel. The presentation will provide information about the College of Medicine and encourages students to consider a career in Medicine. Please see Mr. Regel if you are interested in attending.

MANN ART GALLERY JURIED STUDENT SHOW
Congratulations to the following students for their entries into the Mann Art Gallery juried student show: Kassidy Kluhart, Hayley Watchel, and Cuong Ly.  A special congratulations to Cuong for winning the creative innovation award.  Go check out the show at the gallery until June 13th.

DRESS CODE REMINDER
With the warm weather, students are to ensure the clothing they are wearing is appropriate for school: shorts must be of a reasonable length; no halter tops, tube tops, or spaghetti straps; no bare midriff

SUMMER EMPLOYMENT IN THE TRADES
The Prince Albert Construction Association is looking for highly motivated Grade 11 and Grade 12 students interested in pursuing a career in the trades. There are possible job opportunities available in the following areas: concrete forming, draft person, drywall, electrical, flooring, fence installation, heavy duty mechanic, industrial mechanic, construction, machining, metal fabrication, plumbing, roofing, sheet metal, stucco, painting, and welding. Successful applicants will have guaranteed employment, earn generous wages, gain meaningful experience and can potentially earn four high school apprenticeship credits. Applications can be picked up at the main office or from Mr. Miller. Deadline for applications is Friday, May 30th.

GRAD MASS
All Grade 12 students are welcome to sing with Glee for Grad Mass!  Please come to the Chapel on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:15 a.m. and Wednesdays at lunch for rehearsals. Please see Miss. Stewart for details

SMHS AWARDS
St. Mary High School will be hosting an awards day on Wednesday, June 8th at 9:00 a.m.

ENCOUNTERS WITH CANADA
Encounters with Canada is a leadership program that brings high school students from across Canada together for a one week stay in Ottawa. Students who attend take part in many activities and meet new people. If you would like to apply to attend Encounters in the 2014/15 school year, please see Mrs. McLeod in Student Services before June 6th for information about how to apply.

ST. MARY STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL 2014/15
Applications will be available in the main office for students who would like to apply for the 2014/2015 SLC. Students must apply by Wednesday, May 28th. Please return your application form to the main office. Positions to apply for are Executive (Co-President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer)  and Team Leader (Athletics, Special Events, Publicity, Faith Development, Fundraising, Media Development)

GRADE 12 SPORTS AWARDS
All Grade 12 students who participated in sports at St. Mary High School are invited to apply for a St. Mary Major/Minor Sports Award. The application forms are in the main office. They must be returned to Mr. Quintal by Friday, May 30th.

SASKATCHEWAN SCHOOL BOARDS SCHOLARSHIPS 
Two $2,500 scholarships are awarded to graduating Saskatchewan high school students who remain in Saskatchewan in post-secondary study: University Scholarship and a Applied Science and Technology Scholarship. Recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrating good character, community leadership, financial need, and a 500-word essay. The application deadline is August 31st, 2014. Please see a counselor in student services for applications or go to http://www.saskschoolboards.ca.

ENCOUNTERS CANADA-EXPERIENCE CANADA WEEK 
Be in the centre of the action on Parliament Hill, with a front row VIP seat at the Canada Day Celebrations! Experience Canada Week is from June 29th to July 5th, 2014. Encounters Canada has specifically designed this week for high school students who are new or first generation Canadians. Please see Mrs. McLeod in Student Services for more information on how to apply. 

PRINCE ALBERT AND DISTRICT SCHOLARSHIPS
The Tillie and Joe Kawula Scholarship($1,000) and The Hershel Davidner Memorial Scholarship($1,000)  will be awarded to two graduating Grade 12 students  entering a post secondary school. These scholarships are open to Grade 12 graduates from S.R.S.Division and P.A.R.C.S.Division. The deadline to apply is May 30th, 2014. Please see a counselor in Student Services for application details.​

Jazz Band rehearsals are scheduled for Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in Rm B26.

Students are invited to go to the library after school to receive additional teacher support. As well, a supper is served at 5:00 p.m.
CHESS CLUB

Practices will be on Monday - Thursday at 3:30 p.m.


PRINCE ALBERT WRESTLING CLUB
