God of hope, you shower us with grace when we are insulted or harmed. We have nothing to fear. Help us to pray for those who seek vengeance or who don’t know about you Son Jesus.  Amen

PARENT/TEACHER/STUDENT INTERVIEWS
Report cards have been distributed. Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews will be held Tuesday, April 16th and Wednesday, April 17th from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

JOSTENS RINGS
Representative will be here TODAY at noon with catalogues and samples.  Only a deposit is necessary if you are purchasing.

U of S PRINCE ALBERT CAMPUS
A U of S Prince Albert Campus Counselor will be at St. Mary High School in the Commons on Today from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews. Joanne Marchand, U of S Prince Albert Campus Counselor, will answer admission questions and provide information about course selections etc.

HAT DAY WEDNESDAY
TODAY is hat day.  All proceeds will go to Twoonie For Tuition to help support students in Provinces in Canada who do not have publicly funded high school education. 

MINTO DAY/GREEN DAY
To celebrate and to help as a send off for the Mintos, TODAY is declared as Minto Day/ Green Day.  We will encourage all staff and students to wear. 

BADMINTON TEAM PHOTO
Grade 9 – 12 students badminton team photo will be in the chapel at the 11:10 a.m. break on Thursday, April 17th. 

GRAD REP MEETING
Grad Reps are to meet Thursday, April 17th in the Conference Room at 12:40 p.m.

ST. MARY HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION AWARDS
Grade 12 students who are interested in applying for Graduation awards may pick up an awards package at the office. The application deadline is Saturday, May 10th. PHYSICS COMPETITION
Based on the Physics 20 & Physics 30 course content, this contest is open to any high school student. The prize of money will go towards tuition at the U of S. See Mr. Corcoran for details. The deadline to apply is Thursday, April 17th.

TANZANIA MISSION FUNDRAISER
Come to the Commons to get information about our project. Art Raffle tickets, Donations for our starvathon, Candy bags for sale!!

MULTICULTURAL DAY ENTERTAINMENT
St. Mary High School will be celebrating Multicultural Day on Wednesday, April 30th. During the lunch hour, cultural entertainment will be showcased on the stage in the Commons. Any students/families who are interested in participating (song, dance, etc.) are to contact Mrs. Morhart by Thursday, April 17th.

WIZARD OF OZ MUSICAL
The musical, The Wizard of Oz, will be presented at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre from Wednesday, May 7th - Saturday, May 10th at 7:30 p.m., as well as a Saturday Matinee on May 10th at 1:00 p.m.  Tickets cost $18.00 for adults (ages 19 and over) and $13.00 for students (ages 18 years and under) and are available at the E.A. Rawlinson Box Office or by phoning 765-1270. ​

DATE CHANGE:   U of S U-START 2014
U-Start 2014 will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at St. Mary High School in the Theatre from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. The U-Start session is facilitated by the U of S and will show new students and their parents how to  register for their classes, organize class schedules, housing options, transitions programs, and more. Students may go online and register with the U of S for the U-Start session.

APPOINTMENT WITH U of S ACADEMIC ADVISOR 
Grade 12 students who have registered to attend the U of S this fall will have the opportunity to meet with a U of S Academic Advisor on Thursday, May 29th. He will be here from 9:00 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.The advisor will help you with course selection and any other questions you may have. You must sign up by or before Tuesday, May 27th to meet with him. Please see Mrs. McLeod in student services to sign up

WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS
GLEE CLUB
Glee Club rehearsals are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:15 a.m. and Wednesday at 12:25 p.m.

YEARBOOK CLUB
Meetings are Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in Rm 143.

JAZZ BAND
Jazz Band rehearsals are scheduled for Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in Rm B26.


WEDNESDAY SUPPER STUDY
Students are invited to go to the library after school to receive additional teacher support. As well, a supper is served at 5:00 p.m.
CHESS CLUB
Tuesday and Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in Rm B27.

CROSS COUNTRY
Practices will be on Monday - Thursday at 3:30 p.m.


PRINCE ALBERT WRESTLING CLUB
If anyone is interested in club wrestling, practice is every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Carlton white gym.  All high school male and female students are welcome. See Ms. Richards for more information.
