DAY 2

MORNING PRAYER
Mother Teresa
At a very young age, Mother Teresa entered the convent to become a nun. In her early years she was a teacher. In 1946, at the age of 36, she left and went to Calcutta to work with the poor. By 1950 she became Mother Teresa and founded the Missionaries of Charity. In the beginning it was very difficult as they had to beg for food and supplies. She attracted other women to her way of life and they were soon caring for the poor, the leperous, the dying, and any in need who society had seemed to have forgotten. Today many Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity still serve 1000’s of people in need.

Caring Father, you look after all your children; give us the strength to be your hands for all in need. Amen
