Today is St. Valentine’s Day, a day that has its roots in Rome, where it was a tradition to give handwritten messages of admiration that included a Valentine's name.

Jesus our healer, you touch us with your healing words and power today. May we be bold in asking for guidance and healing. Amen

SASKATCHEWAN WINTER GAMES
Over 200 volunteers are still needed!!! This is an fabulous opportunity for Christian Ethics service hours!

The Saskatchewan Winter Games are held in Prince Albert from Feb. 16th – Feb. 22nd, 2014.
Volunteers are needed to “give back to the community” to make these games an overwhelming success. Volunteering is easy and there are many benefits:
  • Free admission to all sporting events 
  • Free t-shirt and training (for 12 hours or more of volunteering)
  • Free admission to Volunteers Lounge
  • Free access to all activities and events in Volunteer Lounge
  • Volunteer Appreciation Night on Saturday, February 22nd

VALENTINE'S DAY MATCHMAKER
Your results from the SLC Matchmaker Questionnaire that you filled in with your homeroom before Christmas have arrived! You may purchase your results for $3.00 on Friday, February 14th at noon hour in the Commons.

GRADE 12 TRANSCRIPTS
Grade 12's who are planning on attending a Post Secondary Institution in September 2014 will need their high school transcripts sent by the Ministry of Education.You may order your transcript online. SEMESTER I ART STUDENTS
Reminder to all semester one art students, Art work that was left or was hanging can be picked up from the art room at any time.  Art work left after the February break will be recycled.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS
Sacred Heart Cathedral is looking for an artist to create an illustration of the cathedral for their anniversary book. There is a prize of $100 for the successful submission.  See Ms Charlebois-Rinas as soon as possible for information as the timeline is tight.

MODEL UNITED NATIONS
There will be a meeting on Monday, February 24th at 12:30 p.m. in Rm 136. Students will perform a mock UN resolution procedure.
