ST MARY HIGH SCHOOL WINTER CONCERT

The Glee Club, Concert Band, and Jazz Band will be performing on Tuesday, December 17th at 7:30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre. Admission is $5.00 per person. Children 10 years and younger are free.

FAITH FORMATION ADVENT PROJECT

A reminder to all staff and students that the class who raises the most money for the Mission to Tanzania by Wednesday December 18th will receive a pizza party. Our school goal is $2000, and if we reach it by the 18th, Father Travis will be "dunked" in the commons at lunch on Friday December 20th.

U of S ADMISSIONS AND AWARDS WORKSHOP

Uni     The University of Saskatchewan will be holding an Admissions and Awards Workshop for students at St. Mary High School on Thursday, December 12th. The workshop will be held during Period 2 in Computer Lab 229. A recruitment officer from the U of S will be here to answer questions about U of S programs and services, awards, scholarships and bursaries and show students how to apply online for admission and the Competitive Entrance Awards.  The deadline to apply for Competitive Entrance Awards is Saturday, February 15^th, 2014. Students must get permission from their period 4 teacher. ‘Pink’ out of class forms may be picked up at student services. Please see a counsellor in Student Services if you have any questions.

MUSICAL

Anyone interested in performing in this year’s musical, Wizard of Oz, needs to attend an audition information meeting on Thursday, December 12 at 12:35 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre. If you cannot make it you need to talk to Mr. Van Otterloo ASAP after the meeting.

SLC MATCHMAKER QUESTIONNAIRE

Students who do not have a class in period one and would like to fill out a SLC Matchmaker Questionnaire, should go to the main office or Student Services to get the questionnaire.

GRADE 9/10 GIRLS BASKETBALL SCOREKEEPERS

If anyone is interested in score keeping this weekend December 13th & 14th, please see Mrs. Rissling in Rm 146. These hours can be used toward your Christian Ethics Service hours.

SLC COOKIE DOUGH PICK UP DELAYED

The delivery of the cookie dough has been delayed. You will not be able to pick up your cookie dough order on Tuesday after school. Please listen for further announcements.

SLC MEETING

The SLC will be having their Christmas Party-Pizza lunch on Friday, December 13th at 12:20 p.m. in the Conference Room.

ART ROOM

The Art Room will be open Tuesday and Thursday at lunch for students needing to complete their assignments or work on their clay.

SLC CHRISTMAS DOOR DECORATING CONTEST

The SLC will be having a Christmas Door Decorating Contest. All Homerooms are welcome to take part. Decorating will take place from December 9^th – 12^th. Your decorated homeroom door will be judged during Period One on Friday, December 13^th. Be Creative! Have Fun! Show your School and Christmas Spirit!  The SLC will buy the winning homeroom a pizza lunch.
