Thursday, September 19th

DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER
In today’s Gospel (Luke 7:36-39,44-48), we hear about the women who washed Jesus’ feet. She wept as she wiped them, using perfumed oil. After Jesus forgives her sins, the Pharisees begin to question Jesus’ claim to such great power.

Jesus our Savior, through another’s tears, you help us to understand the depth of your forgiveness. Help us to receive your gift of reconciliation. Amen
